Take Kids Fishing Day Hooks Hundreds of Youths and Families

LAVALETTE, W.Va.—Greater than 200 youths and their households gathered at Beech Fork State Park on Saturday, June 6, for the eighth Annual Tri-State Take Youngsters Fishing Day hosted by IBEW Native 317.

The free neighborhood occasion introduced collectively households from West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky for a day of fishing. By means of a partnership with the Military Corps of Engineers, which stocked the lake the morning of the occasion, greater than 200 kids skilled the joy of catching a fish, many for the very first time.
