Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt Set to Take Flight This April

EL DORADO, Kan. – April 1, 2025 – The Kansas One Shot Turkey Hunt (KOSTH) is gearing up for an exciting occasion this April, inviting hunters from throughout the nation to partake in a exceptional two-day competitors within the El Dorado space and surrounding communities in Butler County. Contributors can be vying for the elusive “thunder hen,” generally referred to as the wild turkey.

Highlighting this yr’s occasion are 5 youth hunters from throughout Kansas, aged 13 to sixteen. These younger members will every be geared up with an entire camouflage outfit courtesy of TrueTimber Camo, boots from LaCrosse Footwear and a firearm generously sponsored by area people members and offered by TriStar. Every youth will even obtain a lifetime looking license and a allow sponsored by the Kansas Wildscape Basis.
